1997-98

"A School for Street Children," produced by Inez Jacobson, documents the work of a teacher in India to found a school for street children. This video has been successfully used by Ingrid Jacobson to raise money to build a permanent school, The video shows lessons that are taught on a roof top to over 100 children a day.

"Handwork," documents seed planting at Wayside Prairie, Chicago Forest Preserves. Women of the North Branch.

"Miao Women Drummers," a videograph for Artistic Circles to communicate to funders the value of programming on women's music in China for PBS radio network.

"Moratorium Journal," documents the disappointment of restoration volunteers who are locked out of their sites by a moritorium stopping all restoration work in the Chicago Forest Preserves District.

"Thoughts and Reflections on the Meaning of Life," student project, Adam Gehrie, New Trier High School.

1995-97

"The Artist and the Prairie," documents an exhibit at the Chicago Botanic Garden presented by Tor Faegre and Sue Sommers.

"Video Voices" a two volume production at Post Newsweek Cable. This cable special included video clips and interviews from Heller Nature Center, North Shore Senior Center, Winnetka Women's Exchange

Winnetka Historical Society, video presentation to annual membership meeting by Cynthia Gehrie. This video presents natural areas in Winnetka's Parks and documents participation of school children in Natural Areas Exhibits at the Winnetka Historical Society.

"Let the Dance Begin," Video report on Base Camp, Seattle, where women on their way to the International Women's Conference in Beijing, China were documented and trained to video document their experience by Video Documentation Fund co-founders Tria Kendler and Cynthia Gehrie.

"Connecting Images: Subjective Eye/Subjective Voice, by Cynthia Gehrie, a videograph of a retreat weekend of the Women of the North Branch, focusing on ecological restoration activities.

"All Quiet On the Western Front" Washburne Junior High School. Two videos by two student groups illustrate the use of student generated data base to document student engagement in their study of the novel, All Quiet on the Western Front. These videos were presented by the students at a New Trier High School teachers' institute day in conjunction with a web site in 1997.

Kastles, Songwriting workshop, by Dr. Nancy Green. This videograph documents the Kastles, musicians and singer/song writers, as they lead workshops with elementary and high school aged students to write and perform songs about the Chicago River. This was presented by David Ramsay of the Friends of the Chicago River at a national river conservation conference.

"Chicago Wilderness" by Dr. Nancy Green, documents the opening reception for the Chicago Wilderness initiative to restore native ecosystems in the Chicago bioregion.

"A to Z," A videograph with Sue Sommers, graphic artist, co-teaching an alphabet unit with Chicago Public Schools kindergarten teacher, ACES program, Chicago Arts Partnership in Education (CAPE.)

"Arts Centered Education / Banneker School Animal Art and Report Project." A videograph with Sue Sommers, graphic artist, co-teaching in a special needs classroom. Demonstrates the power of visual language in the learning matrix of children with text language challenges. A project of ACES, a partnership in CAPE.

"Close Up,Seeing Government Up Close," student production, Lake View High School, documents a student group's study visit to Washington D.C.

"Elm Place Boulevard," for the City of Highland Park, documents Planning Commission proposal for renewing the westward downtown area. Department of Development, City of Highland Park

1994-95

"Response to Ecce Homo," City/ Suburban exchange of middle school students from Waters Elementary School (Chicago Public Schools) and Washburn Junior High (Winnetka, Illinois.) The Waters students are refugees from war in Bosnia-Herzegovina. This video was presented together with Ecce Homo, a film by Vesna Ljubic about Sarajevo during its seige.

"Images in Time, Connecting to the Photographs of Jesse Lowe Smith," Produced by Cathy Abbott and Cynthia Gehrie, in partnership with the Heller Nature Center / Park District of Highland Park. Steve Barg, co-producer. This video tracks the experiences of students as they study nature photography with a professional photographer in conjunction with a photographic exhibit of the recovered photographs of a former teacher at their school, Elm Place School in Highland Park. This video was aired by cable tv for several weeks in conjunction with the exhibit.

"The Park in My Neighborhood," Produced by Cynthia Gehrie, Tria Kendler and Historian Juilia Sniderman of from the Chicago Park District. It tracks the training of student docents for restored outdoor theatre designed by landscape architect Jens Jensen, and a production of a turn of the century play, "Beauty of the Wild."

"Scenes From the Hearing Program," a production by Cynthia Gehrie, Cathy Abbott and Tria Kendler, with the North Shore Senior Center, a documentation of services and support groups for hearing impaired co-produced by hearing impaired staff and members.

"Small Miracles in Moscow," a production by Cathy Abbott and Marge Graham. Based on an interview with Jan Smith where she describes her experience helping to found the Gaia women's center in Moscow, Russia.

"Memory Catcher," produced by Tria Kendler, documents a yoga retreat in Mexico.

"Riding Together to Stop AIDS," documents the finish of the first Minneapolis to Chicago bike-a-thon to raise money for AIDS treatment.

"Native Gardens/Natural Gardens" by Cynthia Gehrie, documents organic farming and ecological restoration at Cress Spring Farm, Black Earth, Wisconsin.
