Juvenile Justice Project in Gulu
We met with the head of a juvenile justice project. In 1996 Uganda passed legislation that directs the treatment of juvenile offenders. Through Save the Children foundation, Gulu is working to establish community treatment options.
In particular, this project is working with the women leaders in Laroo-Pece.
